The Great Wine Tour takes you there for a full day of tasting, without the hassle of driving or designating a sober driver.
Your day begins with an easy hotel pickup in San Francisco, followed by a scenic stop at the Golden Gate Bridge for photos before the drive north into wine country. Once in Sonoma Valley, you’ll visit three distinct wineries, each offering a guided tasting of five to six wines, from crisp whites to bold reds, so you can experience the range of what the region produces.
Midday, the group breaks for lunch in historic Sonoma Square, a charming plaza lined with tasting rooms, galleries, and local restaurants. After a final winery stop in the afternoon, you’ll wind down with a stop in Sausalito’s waterfront district before returning to San Francisco by early evening.

| 8:00 – 9:00 am | We provide hotel pickup from throughout San Francisco, gathering guests from downtown, Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and the surrounding neighborhoods before heading north into wine country. |
| 9:15 am | Start the day with a photo stop at one of the best vantage points of the Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy panoramic views of the bridge, the San Francisco skyline, and the Marin Headlands, with time for photos before continuing on toward Sonoma Valley. |
| 10:15 – 11:15 am | Arrive at the first of three handpicked wineries in Sonoma Valley for a guided tasting of five to six wines. Sample a range of varietals, from crisp whites to bold reds, drawn from the valley's cool, coastal-influenced vineyards. |

The wine was great, the winemakers were fantastic, but the linchpin of the entire day was Anthony. Having him in the van felt less like having a guide and more like visiting and catching up with a friend you haven’t seen in years.
Each stop on the tour offered something a little different, and each winery was unique. Getting to speak with each winemaker and hear about what went into their thought processes, and really learn about wine, was a great experience. Here again, Anthony elevated the experience. He seemed to have a true one-on-one relationship at each stop, where it felt like they went the extra mile because he was there with us (maybe him feeding their dogs helped).
Either way, I cannot speak more highly of the experience, and of Anthony specifically. A truly wonderful day.
