Muir Redwoods | Marin Headlands | Sausalito
Small Groups. Big Trees. Big Views.
Discover the natural elegance of Northern California on a thoughtfully curated journey from San Francisco to the redwood forests, dramatic coastline, and the refined waterfront charm of Sausalito. This half-day experience is designed for travelers who value comfort, scenery, and unhurried exploration, blending iconic landmarks with exclusive viewpoints just beyond the city.
The tour begins with a drive through San Francisco with the guide offering stories on its history, its influence on popular culture, and its diversity. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge before continuing to Muir Woods National Monument, where ancient coastal redwoods create a serene, cathedral-like atmosphere. Our tour starts early in the day so guests can enjoy the quiet of the forest before the crowds arrive. Wander beneath towering trees at your own pace, with time to find hidden trails underneath the canopy. Unlike other companies, admission to the Woods is included in the ticket price.
Our journey continues to elevated overlooks and secluded beaches that reveal the raw beauty of the Pacific and the rugged Marin Headlands. The added stops are a photographers dream with unparalled views of San Francisco Bay from above and from the beach.
Your day concludes in Sausalito, a picturesque bayside town known for its art galleries, waterfront dining, and relaxed sophistication. Enjoy ample time for lunch and leisurely exploration while taking in views of the San Francisco skyline across the bay — a graceful finale to a scenic and seamless Northern California escape.

The entire process of working with the tour company was fantastic. They kept us updated on meeting times and locations, and they were very understanding and accommodating when 2 Uber drivers and 1 lift driver cancelled on us. Brian redirected us to one of the later pick up points to ensure we didn’t miss the tour and miss out on this fantastic experience.
